McCue/Maxwell Family History

I have "cousins" connect to Gail Komar and her McCue lineage.

I have a hand written letter from Phyllis McCue who married David Jeddiah Maxwell, Jr a grandson of our James Henry Maxwell and Sarah Caroline Cole.

Will let you know if it is the same McCue line, same area of Ohio feel they must connect, at some twig, on our Maxwell of Cross Creek tree at Ancestry.com.

A g-grandfather of Donna Maxwell Tivener's, David Wakeman Maxwell, was brother to our James Henry Maxwell b 1851.

Reverend William Barton Dunlevy, Charles' nephew (son of Jane Maxwelland Daniel Dunlevy of Cross Creek, OH)

Personal letter between cousins, descendants of our Sarah T Ball's parents, Farlin Ball and Ruth Woods

Maxwell Genealogy Book was published 1960 written by Thomas James Maxwell Jr
Thomas a direct descendant of our William Maxwell b 1745 Scotland d 1830 Ohio and Sarah.
The author, Thomas James Maxwell, Sr. 1897-1982 descends from John b 1799 Ohio County, VA., our Charles' younger brother. Bottom of page one states William and Sarah Maxwell are our ancestors and approximates the year they came to America. I received the book from a long lost "cousin" Thomas James Maxwell, Jr. b 1924 son of the author, alive and well at 85.

Tom Maxwell lives at Thousand Oaks, CA and recently visited my cousin Jayne Maxwell Swartzwelder in Jensen, Florida.

I include a photo, taken just days ago Jan 9 2010 of their meeting at the Olive Garden Restaurant.
Jayne, furthest back, Susan (Tom's daughter) in the middle and Thomas James Maxwell, Jr seated.

Found the book on digitalshoebox.org

All children listed below are of this union and married at Cross Creek, Jefferson County, Ohio
Believe there are more children who have not been documented, yet.

Mary S Maxwell b 1803 m Jacob Cox b 1806

Harriet E Maxwell b 1818 m Dr. Oliver Ormsby b 1810
***Thomas Maxwell b 1819 m 1st Rebecca Stitt after her death in 1876 Thomas married Maria Hutton (widow of William Tipton).
Maria Hutton was the d/o Samuel Hutton and Isabella Maxwell (this Isabella d/o Robert Maxwell and Emilia Scoggins)
I hit a brick wall trying to connect Maria Hutton's grandfather Robert Maxwell, to our Maxwell, ancestors of Cross Creek.

I have a book written by a descendant of Charles' younger brother, John Maxwell, b 1799 Ohio Co, VA.
John Maxwell b 1799 was ordained, as an elder, at Island Creek Church June 2nd 1834

***1850+1860 Census James Patterson Maxwell and brother Thomas Maxwell both listed their occupations as Innkeeper's at Cross Creek.
