2009 - 2010 CHAPTER CALENDAR 

MARCH 30, 2010 – Tuesday, 6:30 P.M. Annual Cemetery Meeting at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Powell’s Ln., Wintersville, Ohio, 43953. Refreshments will be served. All members invited to attend and learn about the history of various pioneer cemeteries, records that are available to researchers. Annual reports from all volunteers with Pioneer Restoration Project.

JUNE 8, 2010 – Tuesday, 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. OPEN HOUSE - OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This will be the first meeting at our NEW office/archive at 100 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, 43953. All members, guests & the public are welcome to tour our building. This will be a “show and tell” meeting, reviewing various courthouse records, free genealogy handouts and more. Refreshments will be served.

JUNE 8, 2010  - (Tuesday) Our first meeting at our new headquarters, 100 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio, 43953.  Meeting begins at 6:30 P.M. followed by a presentation by the board members. We will review the various records from the Courthouse and discuss sources that can be found at courthouses. Refreshments will be served.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2010  - Tuesday, 6:30 P.M.  at 100 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, Ohio. Learning preservation techniques from the experts. Free handouts, hands on learning how to preserve county records for archives and use for researchers.

DECEMBER 4, 2010  - (Saturday) Noon (location & Program TBA) Annual Christmas Luncheon and Program. Contact program chair,  Tammy Hosenfeld for reservations & details at wellspringcpc@verizon.net or 740-546-3786


Watch for other announced field trips and/or projects. Volunteers are needed to assist with the courthouse project and inventory and digitizing records project. Please contact Flora L. VerStraten if you would like to volunteer at fverstraten@dishmail.net
