We would like to thank all of you who have volunteered your time, effort, and talents to ensure the success of the Jefferson County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society! You are all very much appreciated!
1. Robert Heaton gathered all the data for the Cemetery driving directions, GPS readings and section, township and range numbers. We would like to THANK HIM for all the time and work he put into gathering all the directions for all the cemeteries in Jefferson County.
2. A special thank you to Elizabeth C. Herkert and her family. In her passing, she left a substantial sized donation to the Jefferson County Chapter, OGS, Cemetery Project, in February of 2008. It is with our deepest condolences, to her family, and loved ones, that we accept this generous donation, from Norman Haldeman, on behalf of Elizabeth.This donation holds a special place in our hearts. To think that a chapter member felt so strongly about our efforts with the Cemetery Restoration Project, that she would consider our chapter when deciding to select causes and organizations that were important to her makes us feel honored.
