Ohio Century Farm Program

The Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Ohio Century Farm Program is designed to recognize families who have maintained a farm or homestead in their family for at least 100 years, with an emphasis on well preserved, working farms. You can also call and request a registration form at 614.728.6200. From the ODA web site you can view an ongoing list of applicants and those approved for the program. Click on, List of Century Farms, and you can scroll the listing in alphabetical order, listed by counties.

The following are currently listed as Century Farms in Jefferson County. NOTE – I am sure if more farmers knew about this program, they would be interested in joining.
