Note: For each complete marriage newspaper article requested (marriage) there is a $5.00 fee. Include in your letter request: Name(s) of groom, name of bride and date of marriage. Also request which format you would like to receive the newspaper article in. For example: United States mail (which will include a photocopy of the complete article) OR Email attachment (which will be a scanned copy of the newspaper article and emailed to you. Please include your EMAIL with your query, your complete mailing address, and a phone number for any questions we may have. 

You may also use Pay Pal and request a "Newspaper Marriage Record" including $5.00 each marriage request and then Kitty will contact you, once the Pay Pal receipt is received.

NO RESEARCH or copies of newspaper articles will be mailed  until payment is received to the chapter. Once payment is received, Kitty will began copying the article(s) requested. Reminder: Please be specific on the name of groom and bride and also the year of marriage upon your request.

These wonderful Indexes and Spreadsheets were extracted from the original newspapers and painstakingly typed to a spreadsheet format, then converted to a pdf for easy viewing and referencing.  Chapter member, Kitty Kutchmark began these extractions in the fall of 2008. She will complete the marriages and then move on to the obits (deaths) and other items of genealogical interest to Jefferson County, Ohio researchers. Many thanks to Kitty for her work!

NOTE - The newspapers include a MASSIVE amount of genealogical data and if you locate your surname [ancestor] in the index or pdf spreadsheet, you can request an "In-depth research query." Many of these newspaper articles include much more data about the person and/or family then our spreadsheet format would allow us to share.
