Obituary James M'Camis

Steubenville Daily Herald, Dec 29, 1860 – Died at his residence in Ross Twp., this county the 23rd of December, Mr. James M’Camis aged, 84 years. Deceased was one of the early settlers of Jefferson County, having emigrated hither from Eastern Pennsylvania, in the year 1801. He also served in one of the campaigns of the war of 1812, under General Harrison.
