• 1.      James Ferguson was born abt. 1721 in County Antrim, Ireland, and died October 1771 in Hamilton, Cumberland (now Franklin Co.) PA. He married Rachel Walker abt. 1740. She was born 1720 in England, and died 1791 in Hamilton, Cumberland (now Franklin Co.) PA. Children of James and Rachel are:
• ·        William  – b. 1746, County Antrim, Ireland; d. May 21, 1833, Somerset Twp., Washington County, PA.
• ·        James – b. 1748; d. September 11, 1806, Chilicothe, Ross Co., OH; m. Margaret Denny. He was buried at the Grandview Cemetery.
• ·        Margaret – b. 1744; m. William Dickson.
• ·        Matthew – b. 1749; d. November 2, 1848, Kingston, Delaware Co., OH; m. Ann Chestnut, 1782. He was buried at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
• 2.      William Ferguson was born 1746 in County Antrim, Ireland, and died May 21, 1833 in Somerset Twp., Washington Co., PA. He married Sarah Liggett 1775 in Cumberland Co., PA, daughter of Samuel Liggett. She was born 1756 in Cumberland Co., PA, and died 1841. Children of William and Sarah Ferguson are:
• ·        William – b. January 7, 1778, Washington Co., PA; d. November 8, 1868, Jefferson Co., OH.
• ·        Matthew – b. December 2, 1796, Somerset Twp., Washington Co., PA; d. January 23, 1866; m. Ann Ferguson.
• ·        Benjamin – b. April 23, 1798, Somerset Twp., Washington Co., PA; d. 1842, Springfield, IL; m. Sarah Irwin, PA; b. PA.
• ·        Robert – b. PA; d. February 14, 1852; m. Lydia; b. 1771; d. June 2, 1840.
• ·        James – b. 1782, Franklin Co., PA; d. 1828, Pigeon Creek, PA. He was buried at the Presbyterian Cemetery.

She was born January 7, 1778 in NJ and died August 19, 1859 in Jefferson Co., OH.  Wm. served as Justice of the Peace for Wayne Twp., from 1818 – 1838. Children of Wm. and Margaret Ferguson are:
