National Graves Registration Project

It is the intention of the SUVCW to freely share the gathered information with anyone requesting it. Copies of completed county databases will be available for preservation and research efforts by genealogical and historical organizations. The success of the National Graves Registration Project depends on the devotion of members and friends to preserve the memory of the Civil War veterans in their communities. For further information contact: Kent Dorr, SUVCW Ohio Dept Graves Registration at Dorr64ovi@aol.com or
619 Highland Ave., Mansfield OH 44903.

The Ohio Historical Society Archives/Library has most birth records before 1908 and copies of original death certificates on microfilm for the period December 20, 1908 through 1953.
