  1. NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICANTS
    • If you are a NOT already member of the Jefferson County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, or you are changing your membership option to lifetime status, etc., please fill out the membership application form below. After clicking the submit button, you will be directed to a confirmation page where you will see that your form was successfully submitted. On the confirmation page, click the link to continue to the membership payment form. This will take you to the PayPal payment form, where you can choose your membership option and submit your payment.

    • If you want to send your application by snail mail, please do so by clicking here to download the form in pdf format. Fill in all the form fields by typing or printing clearly and then send printed application with payment to:

  2. CURRENT and EXPIRED MEMBERSHIPS
    • For those of you who are already members or your membership has expired, and you just want to pay your yearly membership dues without changing your membership status, please click here to go directly to the PayPal form where you can choose your membership option and submit your payment for the new year.

Additional Options

Why not purchase a membership as a gift for someone special? Just submit the form for the person you are purchasing the membership for, choose your payment option, and then click to download a printable Gift Certificate to give.

Lifetime Memberships are available to those who make a donation of $500 or more. If choosing this option, please feel free to split your donation up between the available options. Just make sure to put in the total of combined donations in the appropriate box.

Due to the rising costs to print and mail newsletters and a decrease in memberships, we will not be able to continue offering mailed newsletters to our members. Beginning immediately, all newsletters will be available from our website, where you can access and view them at any time and from any computer or if you would like, you can print them. You will need to acquire your username and password and then keep it in a safe place. The newsletters are wonderful to view in color, from our website and you will also have the opportunity save it or print it and access it and all past issues. We regret being forced to make this decision, but the money saved on not publishing and mailing newsletters will be used to maintain our office and continue record preservation projects in Jefferson County, Ohio.
